This form is filed with DOR (Department of Revenue). A DMV may require an SR-22 from a driver in order to reinstate his or her driving privileges following an uninsured car accident or conviction of another traffic-related offense, such as a DUI.<\/p>\n<p>You can obtain SR-22 from most normal insurance agents. There will be an increased or extra insurance premium charged to you by your insurance company for the SR-22 insurance.
